Debra Weymes

We were delighted to have Debra join Box Hill Ballet in 2023. Debra has over 40 years’ experience teaching ballet including, until recently, running her own small dance school in Camberwell.

In 2019 Debra continued her studies in ballet history, anatomy and methodology to attain her Cecchetti Fellowship.

Debra has been taught by many eminent teachers including Corrie Lodders, Shirley Jones OAM and Rhyl Kennell, and more recently by Anne Butler who guided Debra’s Fellowship studies.

Debra loves seeing student’s artistic qualities and technique developing, along with their personalities.
