2025 Fee Schedule
Terms and Conditions:
FEES INVOICES: Invoices are sent out (usually via email) to each student at the beginning of the term and should be paid by the third week of each term. Late payment may incur a 10% penalty (at the discretion of the Treasurer).
PAYMENT: Payment is preferred by direct credit via electronic banking (payable to Bendigo Bank: BSB 633-000, Account No. 126085976 with reference – Student Name and Invoice Number). Payment is also accepted by cash (correct amount) or cheque (payable to Box Hill Ballet Association Inc.) in a named envelope given to the teacher (please write your name, the class title, day and time and the amount of your payment on the front of the envelope).
FAMILY DISCOUNT: A family discount of 10% is available for second and subsequent family members. This family discount only applies to dependents either where more than one student is a dependent of the same person (e.g. siblings) or where one or more students are dependents of another student (e.g. parent – child).
MULTIPLE CLASSES DISCOUNT: A discount applies to multiple classes taken: the second class is discounted by 2.5%, the third class by 5%, fourth class by 7.5% and fifth class by 10%. Discount applies to the individual class only and does not apply to the fee total.
CASUAL RATES (only available for senior open classes): In addition to the single “pay as you go” casual rate, we also offer packages of 3 or 5 classes. These packages are to be purchased at the beginning of the term and must be used in the designated term.
SPECIALTY CLASSES: Students enrolled in Folk Dance and Wu Tao can elect to pay by the term or by "pay-as-you-go" casual. Please advise your teacher regarding your payment method at the beginning or the term.
ADMINISTRATION FEE AND OTHER LEVIES: The Annual Administration Fee of $20 is charged with the initial term fees. This is a fixed rate regardless of the number of classes attended (a pro-rata fee is charged for students who enrol from Term 2 onwards). In place of asking students to participate in a fundraising event, a Voluntary Fundraising Levy is invoiced in Term 2 in the amount of $25.
MISSED CLASSES: There are no refunds for class not attended. Classes can be made up during the same term and taken in any dance style, but cannot be carried over to any subsequent term (except in special circumstances, and only by arrangement with your teacher or the Treasurer).
