Courtney Rovers

Beginning dancing at the age of three, Courtney’s joy for the beautiful art form of dance began. It was through the high-quality training she received in Classical, Jazz, and Tap amongst other styles, that strengthened her interest to pursue this career pathway. Throughout the years of training she embraced new learning and performance opportunities including conventions, scholarships, competitions, local shows and parades, all of which enabling the development of skills, knowledge and techniques within a community supported environment. It was the combination of all these experiences that she discovered the importance of building and maintaining professional network connections within the dance community.

Courtney has completed the Cecchetti Syllabus Examinations of Grade 1 through to Advanced 2 as well as the Glenn Wood Tap and Dance Factory Jazz Examinations. After completing a Bachelor of Business at Latrobe University, she pursued her career as a full-time dance teacher. Courtney has attained her Cecchetti Licentiate Diploma qualification, is a Progressing Ballet Technique instructor, and is also an Examiner with Southern Federation of Dance.

As a teacher, Courtney enjoys nurturing the students dance journey of learning new syllabus content, teaching the technique and performance aspects, and progressing to their exams. It is a highly rewarding experience to see them develop into strong, dynamic dancers.
